  • Overview

    To construct maintain and dismantle structures, furniture, woodwork and other related items throughout the facility to ensure an attractive and well-maintained facility.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Maintain and repair doors, furniture, hardware, windows, and hang artwork.
    • Visually inspect. Diagnose problems, take measurements and make necessary adjustments to items such as door hardware to ensure smooth operation of guestrooms, public space and back of the house facilities.
    • Perform workshop repair or build furniture. 
    • Build cabinets, shelving units and fabricate furniture parts for repairs

    Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and clean MVR for 3 years.

     Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in carpentry, woodworking or cabinet making and blueprint reading required.

     Must be able to work flexible schedules to include weekends and holidays.
