Overview

Currently seeking an energetic and goal oriented Hotel Group Sales Manager to join our team! The Group Sales Manager will be responsible for aggressively developing and heavily prospecting potential new business and closing on accounts to positively impact hotel revenue.

Will complete all appropriate sales reports and conduct property tours.

Build long term client relationship.

Communicate event details to various departments within the resort; work effectively with Rooms, Catering, Conference Services and Banquet departments.  

Minimum of one day outside sales calls per week; solicitation/creation of new sales leads and the productions of revenue (to goal).

Limited weekend hours based upon client needs.


Successful candidate must have 2 - 3 years hotel group sales experience in an upscale or resort environment with proven track record. Strong prospecting and closing skills.  Able to generate leads and sales calls. Experience with the Corporate Group Sales market preferred.

Highly motivated and energetic. Must have great sense of urgency and be highly productive.  

Minimum of intermediate computer skill level that includes, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of and/or the ability to quickly learn, Delphi and any other software the hotel will establish are critical to this position.

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Must have a valid driver's license.
